Office of the Public Defender Law Clerk and Legal Internships are designed to give participants exposure to the work environment of the OPD, including opportunities to observe and assist in legal proceedings and contribute to the work of the criminal defense teams.

The program integrates law clerks and interns into all district and division offices and allows them to assume some of the same responsibilities as our full-time personnel.
