CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION POLICY FOR ASSIGNED COUNSEL

 

To ensure the highest standards of quality representation for all OPD clients, Assigned Counsel is required to complete 12 hours of CLE every year.   Assigned Counsel may earn up to 6 hours of CLE via web-based programming and may carryover up to 6 hours of CLE credit to the following year.

The CLE year runs from January 1st through December 31st.  During the CLE year, CLE credit may be obtained via Pre-Approved Instructor-Led CLE Programs, Web-Based Programming, Outside MOPD Trainings and Instructing CLE sessions.
