REMEMBER: Your video should address all five questions.

  1. Please explain why you want to be an Assistant Public Defender in Maryland. 

  2. Please tell us why you believe your experiences and skills make you qualified for this position at OPD.  

  3. What draws you to work with people identified as indigent and how do you feel you can be a tenacious advocate for our client population?

  4. Please discuss what 'culture of excellence' means to you and how you will embody that principle if employed by the Office of the Public Defender.

  5. Please tell us if you are an active member of the Maryland Bar or any other state. If you are not currently licensed in Maryland, please include in your answer if you recently sat for the Bar UBE, Non-UBE, or recently passed the bar exam awaiting confirmation of the swear-in date (please include Maryland or other states for all answers).
